        In main storyline, hes abt in his mid 20s. N standing sooO tall at a whopping 5'3'' [160cm]- my mods n chat like to goof on him being a smol puntable hamptur        Growing up he was a latchkey kid- so with the empty time, he grew a fascination for the tech of the city [this West City district is very industrialized, n almost cyberpunky- screens and holograms galore]. So it started off with learning to do basic fixes to devices to ultimately recoding things- n more as years pass        He really had a future ahead of him with his brains for tech. But he was often a push over n bullied- due to his nerdy tech smarts, his short stack height, pink hair [itttss purdy n its natural] and also later on [in HS] also for his sexuality
        Enough was enough and his attitude shifted, more defensive, cold, n short fused after all the torment. Hed even gone to dying his hair completely black to hide the pink        It wasnt till he got back stabbed by a secret casual hook up, who leaked a video of them doin the deed that shit hit the fan for Rose. Not only was he poked at for being a tech nerd, for his pink hair, height, and his sexuality- now as a slut        Word spread n reached his parents- a whole ordeal went down, and he was disowned and kicked outta home
From then he bounced place to place- often doin sexual favors in return and/or fixing a device or two [depending who he stayed with]
Sex quickly became a coping mechanism- along followed drinking and drugs
        Eventually, feeling sorry for him, someone pointed him toward Mama Lalu- that he finally had an ounce of family. She brought him in- gave him a place to stay, and a decent paying n stable job at her brothel
        He grew close with his fellow coworkers- even went onto dating a few- but none lasting tho with no hard feelings        His first meeting with Donte actually comes from when Cyrus, Donte's dad [a big, mafia, god complex dude] calls into Mama Lalu's place. This being an often occurrence, but not particularly for himself- but for his son. He'd do this thing where hed call in, request an escort [someone different each time], have them come over, and try to sleep with Donte. Whom- every time has always sent them back with an apology tip lol. Donte at this point in story is a tired n depressed fucker. Cyrus solution;; you know what that boy needs? he needs to get laid lmao        Ambrose is sent- reluctantlyyy
He knos of Cyrus n what he does- n would prefer to stay outta it- but with the enticement of an easy in and out and extra money- he agrees        Cyrus n Donte own n live in beeeeg ass skyscraper like building
        Ambrose is surprised n disgusted that the tech in the building is glitchy and not up to par- but goes n looks forward to his extra money
        After waiting forever in Donte's bedroom- they finally meet- Ambrose doesnt recognize its him- cuz Donte wears the same techwear n helmet the rest of the agents he came across wore
So that spews into an awkward n goofy interaction        Different from all the other times this has happened- Donte unexpectingly finds himself drawn to Rose. Inviting him to stay the night- it being in the early ams, its cold out, and maybe the chance his dad will bug off if he's under the impression they did the do        I've thought abt how this night would go- n haven't exactly settled on it yet- cuz I'm an indecisive fuck

they get a lil done- Ambrose goes down on Donte n gives him a bj- which ultimately ends with Donte chickening out to go any further- n they awkwardly sleep the rest of the night,
or
they do absolutely nothing- Donte doesn't act on his attraction- and they sleep soundly till morning arrives. and before Ambrose leaves- his pet peeve brings him to sneakily fix some tech in Cyrus's building. an act of good[ish] will that comes to bite him in the ass- n makes them regret it        [A lil info on Cyrus for reference. Hes big n bad n all. But he works hand n hand with corrupted higher ups of the city. For a good price, he'll make someone disappear. Along with running a whole spy network. To which hes granted to security footage or clearance of the entire city district. When he hires someone to work under him- they are contracted. They sign and are only ever loyal to him n under his protection for the rest of their life. These people are brought identity anonymousity while working for Cyrus- hence the identical uniforms and helmets. Cyrus may contract people for numerous things- assassins, spies, ect. If someone of potential catches his eye, he will spy/stalk them from a distance until hes made his decision. If he decides someone is worth it- he will physically approach them. Which for Cyrus, he doesnt go out a whole lot- so to see him out in the open tends to be ominous- that hes out for something, or someone particular.
general public feelings abt Cyrus are mixed-- some are afraid of him n want to avoid him, while some may try to get close with him hoping he'd favor them or hire them to get that protection contract- id say some may even consider u being 'lucky' to be approached, means u have or can do something deemed valuable in the dystopia they live in]with that said
        Ambrose is approached by Cyrus a few weeks later. he shows up at Moma Lalus brothel with a couple agents- its a surprise as to how someone at a place like this could be useful to Cyrus- so no doubt it brings an uneasy feeling to everyone there. When Ambrose is told Cyrus is here for him, he feels nothin but dread. Moma Lalu [whos actually head over heels for Cryus, n has a fat crush on him] yoinks offered money from Cyrus n gives them an hour in a private room to converse        30 min of some fighting words from Ambrose and ultimately accepting his fate- he signs
with 30 more min to spare, Cyrus has one of his agents fuck Rose while he watches. letting that be Ambrose's last night being employed here        from then- Rose disappears from everyone's radar and their life spirals again. as if right where they left off before being hired by Mama Lalu. He falls even harder on drinking and drugs- and continues sex work on his own terms with under the table payments. Cyrus def see this- but doesnt care, cuz understands boys gotta get his fix
        Ambrose ends up not just fixing tech- he ends up creating a whole new technology for Cyrus's biz. Everything got an upgrade thanks to a miserable twink rotting away in a small studio apartment
Ambrose ends up create a tech that syncs the helmets to rings worn by the agents. he also gets involved with Donte's mum from a distance- also creating contact lenses that if worn, can project realistic holograms in front of the wearer        Ambrose n Donte dont meet up again until a few years or so later. when a suicidal Ambrose comes across the fresh remains of an abandoned vehicle crash site [the one Donte gets into with Shadow n Nyomi- and they kidnap him lol]- among the debris he finds Donte's gun- n steals it        After bringing it back to his apartment he debates what he could do. He knows while under Cyrus's contact, he cant die
Def at some point Ambrose wouldve tried to overdose- but Cyrus was able get medical assistance to him to drag him away from deaths doorstep. So even through death, he cant escape Cyrus        So instead of taking the gun to his head- he decides to be an absolute pain in Cyrus's ass
Within a few days or whatevs-- he plans out a solo heist of sorts. A HUGE building [name undetermined atm] a commercial trading hub building. Its one of the biggest building in the west city district- and it holds a shit ton of data, tech, codes, whatevers!        on the day of- Ambrose struts in, prolly wearing a big ole black hoodie, a sick mask n whatnot- n slips behind the conter for some code stealing shabootles- as planned, he gets caught- and follows up by making a whole scene. Looks at a security camera, cuz he knows Cyrus would be watching, turns the gun at a security guard n shoots him point blank        the kwonkadonk-- Donte is at this hub, along with Shadow n Nyomi- upon hearing the shots fired, he recognizes that being his gun gone off. So he breaks off from the girls. when he tries to run at Rose- Ambrose spooks and dumps a bullet into him. Which at the mercy of being a werewolf- hes only knocked off his feet but gets back up. Donte would also still be wearing the typical techwear n helmet- so Ambrose jus thinks Cyrus has already sent someone after him        They take off outta the building- Donte catches him by the hoodie and dangles him while trying to get a scan on Rose with the helmet- which prompts Ambrose being able to hack the helmet before getting a read- completely dismantling the helmet, n dematerializing showing Dontes face
        Ambrose like, 'ooooH SHIT'-- shimmys n falls outta the hoodie n sprints for it when Donte gets distracted by local police-- tears off the mask n books it for the roofs- right before hes abt to jump to another building Donte manages to tackle them to the ground
At this point they both huffin n puffin- and Donte gets a better look at Ambrose face, beginning to realize this was the escort for years prior- Ambrose trys to throw some punches but gets his arms pinned down- which in the moment doesnt help Donte's thoughts from wondering- but the silence is broken when Ambrose snapped abt being turned in or somethin-- but to his surprise Donte is more interested in his ability to hack and dismantle the helmet- it dont cross his mind that Ambrose was the one who create it
        Rose bites his tongue realizing Donte doesnt kno- n simply says hes jus good with tech
Donte helps him up promising them hes not gonna hurt em- brings them back to Shadow n Nyomi- n tries to recruit Rose to join them to infiltrate his dads biz
which Ambrose quietly declines- Donte n the girls are kinda, 'welp. we tried'- n drive n drop Rose off at his apartment building        where within seconds of Rose entering his apartment- Cyrus arrives behind him in the flesh

The land is split down the middle vertically through the capital- creating the East and West domains
Convincing the citizens of their side that the other sister murdered their goddess. Turning the people of their side against the other- and fought for the capital- and ultimately the place of their mum as monarch
